Flopsy's Funny Day It was one sunny hot Sunday. It was too hot to do anything. Flopsy our black netherland rabbit was asleep in the hot sun. My dad said to let Flopsy out for a run in the garden. So we let her out, she was so happy, that she licked me to bits. Mum had just come back from the libarary. She had bought a video. It was called Lord of the Rings Part 1. I was so happy because I had never watched that video. The video was very long - 2 hours and 55 minutes long. I had actually forgotten about Flopsy. Then I remembered about her and I rushed to the back garden door. She wasn't there. I looked high and low and all over the place. Where could she go? I gave up. I had lost my first ever pet in the world and I started to cry. I called my sister and my mum. We looked everywhere. She wasn't there, my mum called my dad. Then we saw our next door neighbour, Isobel and she came to look as well. We looked and looked and things where rushing in my head and I was still sobbing my eyes out. I was so tired and fed up so my mum thought we could have some lemonade. She was just going in when I heard a loud scream form my mum. We went rushing inside and there was Flopsy sound asleep under the table like a baby. THE END By: Mariam Paracha
